South Coast Water District Goes Enterprise GIS with Spatial Wave Products
Aliso Viejo, Calif. - July 31, 2007:
South Coast Water District (SCWD) selects Spatial Wave to implement key Enterprise GIS products in support of its GIS implementation program.
Having recently completed the conversion of their facilities data, SCWD was eager to proceed to the next stage of Enterprise GIS.
After a thorough review of what options were available, SCWD selected Spatial Wave's enterprise GIS suite of products as the best fit to meet
their GIS requirements. "Spatial Wave has been very responsive to the District's GIS challenges, and the Mapplet suite of products offers the power

Associate Engineer with South Coast Water District. This would include implementing a powerful yet cost effective suite of turnkey enterprise GIS
solutions including Mapplet.NET, Field Mapplet, and MapLibrary. The implementation of the Enterprise GIS will facilitate
the timely and accurate capture, documentation, and distribution of network asset information to the entire workforce and
provide spatially enabled file management, web portal, markup management, office to field workflow and map production.
The Spatial Wave suite of GIS products will assist SCWD to further enhance customer service, facilitate upgrades to its water
and sewer infrastructure, meet competitive challenges, and achieve performance levels established by key stakeholders.
Spatial Wave's products will be used to leverage the GIS data to support SCWD's day-to-day business operations.
"Mapplet.NET and Field Mapplet will empower the staff to access critical information in the office or the field using a
consistent and integrated platform.", said Dr. Ali Diba, president of Spatial Wave.
